Navjeevan Deaddiction Centre was established in 2014 by Swa.Indirabai Sitaram Deshmukh Bahu-uddeshiya Sanstha, Umarkhed Dist:Yavatmal at Lohara-Yavatmal. Actually,while conducting Survey to study reasons of Farmers suicides in Highest farmers suicide affected villages of Yavatmal District under project Umed found that 68% farmers were going through various stages of depression due to various socio-economic reasons. Among them around 70 % of Depressed farmers were caught in either Alcohol or Tobacco addiction. As it is well known fact that depression increases your chances to get caught in various addiction. At that time Think Tank of our NGO has decided to deal with menace of addiction and seed to start separate Navjeevan Vyasanmukti Kendra was sown there.
